We are group of teachers  and students working in Europe who are interested in working together to have a better and cleaner planet. The project focuses on one of the biggest problems in the world, environmental problems. It aims at preserving and restoring the environment by encouraging students in finding lasting and substantial
solutions. We want to mobilize them in raising environmental awareness.
Students need to realize that we consume our own environment unconsciously. That is why project partners actively want to involve their students in this matter. Project partners will plan activities brought up by students in the partner schools. In CLEAN, it will not only be dealt with on a national but also on a European level.
CLEAN provides students with basic environmental knowledge and equips them with sustainable skills necessary for their daily lives. Students should be exposed to real life cases to trace the marks of environmental learning. Learning how to learn is one of the key elements of environmental education. School learning is more than just providing knowledge.
The overall aim of this project is to bring a more observation based social learning approach into school education in which students will learn to understand and interpret the world around them. This will be realized through raising awareness of sustainable ways of recycling, finding new energy sources and help gaining a deeper understanding about a sustainable environment.
